The following invitation is an opportunity to separate yourself, your son or daughter, or your club, from the competition. In the fall of 2006 a few forward looking teams and goaltender families in Maryland addressed this need for their stewards of the nets. Redline Hockey was born.
This former goaltender now works with goaltenders and their clubs to maximize time and financial resources for the benefit of individual goaltenders and their teams. Goaltenders and their families pay as much for ice time and coaching as skaters. Yet on many teams before the highest levels, goaltenders receive the least direction and positional training on any given team. This is unfortunate as it is in the interest of any team and club to develop their goaltenders and not leave them to their own devices.
As a former goaltender through the college and professional selection levels, I have come to realize the benefits that I, as a player, could have reaped if I had knowledgeable goaltending training and instruction on a regular basis prior to the collegiate hockey. Size, style, strengths and weaknesses change through each level of hockey. Redline Hockey brings attention to those tools in relation to each level of play bringing a keener awareness of how goaltenders can train and perform their best along the way.
If your team or club is not providing these services, Redline Hockey is for you. Redline Hockey will work with your goaltender to maximize his or her abilities in your practices, in special sessions and with game preparation and feedback.
See below for services offered and continue to visit Red Line Hockey for news and notes. Feel free to contact me anytime at rdegem@hotmail.com with questions or comments.
All the best!
Sincerely,
Bob DeGemmis
