Ryan Miller - Buffalo Sabres
A fantastic save to watch. Essentially a 3 v 1 with fantastic movements, concentration and mental approach by Ryan Miller.
"
Olaf Kolzig - Washington Capitals
Penalty killing against the Bruins. Way to stay "up", "out" and "square".

They Said It! Red Line Hockey Testimonials
"Bob DeGemmis coached my thirteen-year-old goalie son for a full season. Bob attended team practices during the regular 2006-07 season, and that worked out so well that we then set up a series of two-goalie sessions that continued through the spring and into the early Summer. Bob was an exceptionally knowledgeable and skillful coach, and he had a huge, positive impact on my son’s game. Bob also brought to ice the personal skills needed to motivate and win the trust of a goalie of this age."

Where Did The Red Line Name Come From?

Besides the obvious hockey reference to a Red Center Line and the Red Lines of the crease, the Red Line is a U shaped Metro Line in Washington DC that extends from Shady Grove, MD to Glenmont. A number of rinks are within a mile or 2 of the line including Rockville Blades, Cabin John Rinks, Verizon Center and Wheaton Ice Rinks.

Dog Days of Summer are Upon Us
THE HEAT OF SUMMER IS HERE....but September is right around the corner. If you are not thinking about upcoming tryouts and the 2007-2008 season, it's time to do so. Bob DeGemmis of RedLine Hockey has begun work with the MYHA U14 goaltenders off-ice including agility, coordination, flexibility and fitness work.

Off-ice activities including minitennis, soccer tennis, wallball and other activities that include footwork, speed and hand-eye coordination are a staple of any off season routine. Most importantly, these activities are outside and fun!
