The Caps got what they needed when they needed it on Friday night in New Jersey as Cristobal Huet turned aside everything that came his way. The Caps outshot the leaders in the east but the game was by no means a cakewalk for Huet. Huet shut down a number of powerplay opportunities and also foiled an open breakaway when the game was still in striking distance for the Devils.Notes From The Post….
